I fired my security guard just because he talked non-stop of his sacrifices protecting my life. So, to the new man I said, “Gentleman, you didn’t come here with the intention of protecting my life, however I am kind and dare enough to give you an opportunity to guard me”.

1. A worker got a cockroach in his lunch from the canteen on the very first day after a long lock-out in a company. Half-heartedly joined employees after some long negotiations were looking for some reason to start their agitations again took it as a good opportunity and gathered around him making a big scene. The manger arrived, took it from the plate and swallowed it. He smiled and said that it tasted nothing but only a fried onion.

He killed the issue.

2. Budha was walking with his disciples and some people were following them all the way abusing Budha. He did not utter a word in reply and when one of them asked the reason he said. “They have all the freedom to say what they feel and I have my right not to listen to it”.

3. One day when The Prophet Mohammed-PBUH-arrived the mosque there was a big quarrel between two sets of people over a man who urinated in the mosque. Some people were of the opinion of giving a harsh punishment and others wanted to wait for The Prophet to take a judgment. The Prophet took a pail of water, washed it away and asked the man to join the prayers. People felt so ashamed and prayed The Most Merciful to forgive them, and the man.

Here, The Prophet Mohammed-PBUH-solved the issue.

Time will tell

I was taught:
To become a successful man;
one should not cheat,
one should not steal,
and
one should not lie.
But some very successful people I know,
cheated without mercy,
stole without ethics,
and
always lied like hell.

I just meant to hurt only a few..

People always talk of sincerity in work. When I am asked how sincere I was while working as an employee I did not have an answer. I just felt that the whole big business was as my own and I would have done the same if it were actually mine. That’s all I know.

Education for the elderly..

I am quite surprised of some people who were unable to get a good Degree and in some cases only achieved just a minimum pass-mark talk non stop now about History, Science etc. A common factor I found in almost all these cases is that they all have children studying at schools. Not bad, at least let parents get some education.
